Mailbox Monday
Thanks for joining me for Mailbox Monday! MM was created by Marcia, who graciously hosted it for a long, long time, before turning it into a touring event. Mailbox Monday has now returned to its permanent home where you can link to your MM post.
Three books came into my house last week:
The Honor Was Mine: A Look Inside the Struggle of Military Veterans by Elizabeth Heaney. Heaney is a therapist who works with returning vets and their families. Her new book gives voice to their stories.
The Drake Equation by Bart King. This is an adventure novel for middle school kids. King wrote the nonfiction bestseller, The Big Book of Boy Stuff.
Come Hell or Highball by Maia Chance. I bought this on a whim because I liked the idea of a Prohibition Era cozy mystery series and this is the debut.

Amazon says Come Hell or Highball is "wacky [and] witty". Sounds just up my alley. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!
