Heather at Based on a True Story has taken over hosting the Foodies Read Challenge for 2016. Margot from Joyfully Retired started this popular challenge and then passed the torch to Vicki from I'd Rather Be at the Beach.
This is always one of my favorite challenges. I'm signing up again this year for the Pastry Chef level to read four to eight food books in 2016.

Dearie: The Remarkable Life of Julia Child by Bob Spitz
A Little Dinner Before the Play by Agnes Jekyll (reviewed here)

ReplyDeleteI stopped doing challenges, but I always loved this one. You have some great choices on your list. I really need to read or listen to Dearie ... bad me for not having done so yet.
ReplyDeleteI like your list. I started Dearie but never finished it.
ReplyDeleteI love this challenge but quit signing up for it because I was terrible about actually keeping up with it. I'm curious about Dearie. I didn't love Julia in My Life in France but I'd like to give her another chance.
ReplyDeleteObviously, I love this challenge too. I'm so glad it's still moving ahead. I took a couple years off (normal burn-out), but I'm back at it this year. Hard to stop reading good food books. I love your list of possibilities. Most of them are new to me. Good luck to you.
