YOUR BOOK BEGINNING
MY BOOK BEGINNING
"The things I do for the Church of England," Tom murmured, thinking he might as well have shouted it aloud.
-- Ten Lords A-Leaping by C. C. Benison. Just what is he up to on behalf of the church?
This is the third book in Benison's Father Tom Christmas series. I haven't read the first two, but this one looks terrific and now I want to start from the beginning of the series.
So are there 12 books in this series?
ReplyDeleteThis one sounds like fun!
ReplyDeleteI like the sound of this one!
ReplyDeleteI've read good things about the series, but I haven't read it. It's somewhere on my radar to potentially read at some point.
ReplyDeleteWHAT does he do for the Church?
ReplyDeleteI love that start. I have seen this series and it looks really good.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to try some for the end of the year
ReplyDeleteThis is the first time I have joined in. I had to cheat and use a few sentences. If I just used the first one, my post would have been ... "DUSK."
ReplyDeleteEnigmatic I suppose but it doesn't exactly draw you in.
I love classic mysteries so I will have to check C.C. Benison out.
I've just recently learned of this series. It sounds like fun!
ReplyDeleteHahaha, I love the beginning! He just sounds so fed up with everything! Thanks for hosting and I hope you have a good weekend :)

ReplyDeleteInteresting beginning. I need to check out this series.
ReplyDeleteMy mom is in the hospital and things are crazy around here, but wanted to wish everyone a happy Friday and Book Beginnings fun.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't able to "rustle" up a post.
