All my instincts said to avoid any cases that involved the rape and murder of a general's daughter. It was a lose-lose situation.-- The General's Daughter by Nelson DeMille. DeMille is the best of the best when it comes to writing thrillers and this one is particularly good. I saw the movie, but long enough ago to enjoy the book.
Teaser Tuesdays is hosted by Should Be Reading, where you can find the official rules for this weekly event.
I haven't read one of his many books. Will write this title down.
ReplyDeleteI think the "hero" was correct. He should have avoided it. On the other hand although I rarely read thrillers, it is possible to run across one occasionally. My favorites are those with race to stop the disaster theme...:)
ReplyDeleteTN: They range from good to excellent, so you can't go wrong!
ReplyDeleteTroutbirder: I'm not one for thrillers on a regular basis, but I enjoy Lee Child and Nelson DeMille. DeMille's book, Cathedral, is the best "race to stop the disaster" book ever.
I haven't read anything by him, but this sounds very good.
ReplyDeleteWill have to check out Cathedral too...thanks.
My teaser is listed below. Hope you can stop by....I have giveaways going on as well.
