I'm definitely wondering what the gunshot anniversary is, and where this book takes place.
ReplyDeleteWell, the opening scene is a flashback to a courthouse shoot out, so that gives you a clue. But I don't know (yet) where that took place. The heroine lives in Portland in modern day.
