Scene and Be Seen
Cathy at Kittling: Books is featuring Rose City Reader in her entertaining Scene of the Blog event this week. Thanks, Cathy!
Scene of the Blog is a big favorite of mine. It's the most voyeuristic event in the book corner of the blogosphere and I love it. Every week, Cathy spotlights a different blog, with pictures of where our favorite bloggers find inspiration, hit the laptops, and store their TBR stacks.
Cathy herself is a fellow "list" reader, with a fondness for mysteries. Her reviews are sprightly and to the point -- just how I like them. Hers was one of the very first blogs I followed. Please stop by for a visit and tell her I sent you!
Here's one of my Scene of the Blog pictures. Click on it to go to the Scene of the Blog post to see the others, read the post, and visit Kittling Books.
I just looked at your wonderful library on Cathy's blog and was inspired to take a look at your blog. It's now on my "Favorites" list for further reading. Enjoy what I've seen so far.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rural View! I visited your blog too and am glad I did. I signed up as a follower.
ReplyDeleteAmazing, amazing room! LOVE IT...and I am green with envy :) Thanks for sharing your space!
ReplyDeleteI dream of one day having a library in my house! (Need to buy the house first...)
ReplyDeleteI saw your post on Cathy's blog and I LOVE your library!
ReplyDeleteI love the library and the names of your cats! Very clever.
ReplyDeleteWendy: Thanks! Next time we have a Portland book blogger retreat, we can start with a book brunch at my house!
ReplyDeleteavisannschild: Yes, house comes first, I guess. I love that tabby cat!
bermuda: Thanks! You are sweet.
Erin: Thanks! Hubby names the cats because he is a huge jazz fan. He has a "critical listening" room with built-in shelves for his jazz vinyl collection where he sits when I am in the library. :)
Oooooh, you don't have to ask me twice ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for participating in Scene of the Blog. I love, love, love that library of yours!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! That is definitely something I desire in a house someday. What a wonderful escape :)
