Great sentence! This is my all-time favorite book by Dick Francis (followed closely by Hot Money). You brought back some great memories.
ReplyDeleteKathy -- Good to know you liked this one. The wine angle appeals to me. I like his books, but I'm not into horse racing, so the more that part gets marginalized, the more I enjoy them.
