One book came into my house last week:
42 States of Grace: A Woman's Journey by Maureen Hovenkotter.
A mutual friend suggested that the author send me a copy of this book. I'm afraid it is going to make me cry, but it looks very good. She was a free-lance writer and an aide to a U.S. Senator. When her husband died unexpectedly, she set off traveling around America in an RV with her dog Charlie.
This is the sort of random, real-person memoirs that I really like.
That sounds like a really good book. I love memoirs of this kind–especially those that have to do with travel.

I enjoy memoirs. This one does sound interesting. Sometimes it's good to shed a few tears while reading!
