Marce -- The mystery is stand-alone, but it would be helpful to read the earlier books in the series to know the characters. There is a lot of backstory.
ReplyDeleteLKT -- Now that I finished this one, I want to go back and read the earlier books.
I'm more of a cozy mystery reader, I'll have to think about this one a bit more. But, great teaser anyway.
ReplyDeleteGramma Ann -- Based on the cover, I thought this would be horrifying. But the teaser is as gory as it gets. I wouldn't call it a cosy, but it was not scary.
