I enjoyed
Peaceful Places, Los Angeles so much that I got my hands on a copy of
Peaceful Places, New York City.
There are plans afoot for a trip to New York this fall, so I can't wait to read this and get ideas.
This is the first week of the new Mailbox Monday blog tour. This month,
Chick Loves Lit is the host.
There are peaceful places in LA. Maybe this is the book we needed when our kids lived there, but now they've moved.
ReplyDeleteI bet that's a good one, but I'm never in New York long enough to seek out peaceful places.
ReplyDeleteSheila -- IThe LA book would have been great to have if you visited LA often! I am bringing my copy next time I have to be there for work.
ReplyDeleteBermuda -- I have a book about New York called "Secret Places" that I love. I bet this has some overlap. But I hope to find some new haunts.
Looks like a lovely book and a good resource!
ReplyDeleteMary -- I like the idea of anything "peaceful" this week. I may have to read it just for escapism.
ReplyDeleteSounds very interesting! I hadn't heard of this series before. There must be some peaceful spots in Central Park and elsewhere. Enjoy!
