November 11 is Veterans' Day. Or Armistice Day, for traditionalists.
At our house, it is also our wedding anniversary. This year we celebrate our Pottery Anniversary. That doesn't have the most romantic ring to it, but we'll make the best of it.

ReplyDeleteAs always on Veterans' Day, we face the Portland dilemma -- fly the flag in honor of the Veterans, but don't fly the flag in the rain. Every year, it's the same thing. I need to find a way to hang the flag under the porch roof.
Aaaahhh...At least you know the rules! Most people don't care!
