Oh no!
While trying to update my subscription links to allow subscribing by email, I think I just deleted my original subscription link and blitzed all my subscriptions.
For all those kind enough to subscribe to Rose City Reader, a sincere thank you and a request for a
BIG FAVOR -- please sign up for a new subscription! I do not want to lose you and I really did not mean to delete you!
For those who do not currently subscribe, please do! Now you can sign up with a reader or by email.
You can also follow the blog through google -- use the "Follow Blog" button in the navigation bar above or go to the followers widget in the right-hand column.
THANK YOU!
Did you say "widget?"
ReplyDeleteYou're in my Google Reader and this post came through just fine.
ReplyDeleteLaura -- yes, I said "widget"! And if you would stop hogging your husband's blog and get your own, you would learn all about widgets. And keep us all in stitches. So hop to it, lady!
ReplyDeletebermudaonion -- I think the google part was unaffected. All my google followers are still there. It was subscribers using other readers who I fear were zapped.
What's a "reader"? :-)
ReplyDeleteBermudaonion already said what I was going to. I was subscribed in google reader before and this post came through just fine. Hope it's not too much of a mess for you.
ReplyDeleteyeah...you came through just fine. By the way - I responded to your comment on my Maxim's of Manhood post. I think you will like my idea!
ReplyDeleteSo if I get my own blog I get to say things like "widget?" And you'll show me how to make a button? Gawd, it so might be worth it.
ReplyDeleteI am still fretting about this whole subscriber thing. It now seems like the google people still get the feed.
ReplyDeleteBut if subscribers using non-google readers stop getting the feed, they won't get this post to alert them that they have to re-subscribe. They may never think to check the blog itself and just assume I'm not posting anything.
Drat! I wish I were more technically savvy so I could figure these things out better. I may know "widget" but that's about it.
