Inspired by Literary Feline's similar collection on Musings of a Bookish Kitty, I am going to use this spot to keep a list of the various series I have read or am in the process of reading. It is, essentially, a list of lists -- what could be more appealing?
The "What's Next" website makes finding all the books in a series a snap. And if they do not have a particular series available, they are happy to hunt it down and add it -- just email them.
Alphabetical, by author:
Cara Black's Paris-based Aimee Leduc mysteries
James Lee Burke' Dave Robicheaux mysteries
Lee Child's Jack Reacher series
John Lescroart's San Francisco-based Dismas Hardy mysteries
Barbara Parker's Gail Connor mysteries (finished)
Martin Cruz Smith's Arkady Renko mysteries
Julia Spencer-Fleming's Clare Furgusson mysteries
Olen Steinhauer's Eastern Europe series
P.G. Wodehouse's Bertie and Jeeves series
These are mostly mysteries, with the exception of the Wodehouse books. As I think of other series, I will add them.
Any Alexander McCall Smith on your list? He has so many series, I can't keep track . . . but the No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency series is wonderful!

You know, I didn't get into those. I read #1 Ladies' and liked it ok, but not enough to want to continue. I might give it another try one of these days.
ReplyDeleteI love lists. :) My favorite series is probably Women's Murder Club series by James Patterson. Have you read any of those?
ReplyDeleteRebecca -- I haven't read any of those because I never remember if James Patterson is the one who wites books too scary/gory for my taste of if that is Richard North Patterson. I don't like books about serial killers, and I know one of those two writes such book, so I avoid them both.
